Ana Vieira Leite
Portuguese soprano Ana Vieira Leite is a laureate of the 10th edition of Le Jardin des Voix, Les Arts Florissants’ academy for young baroque singers. Under the direction of William Christie, she made her debut at the Paris Opera as Créuse in Charpentier’s Médée, a role she later reprised at Teatro Real Madrid, and appeared at the Opéra Comique in Rameau’s Les Fêtes d’Hébé in a staging by Robert Carsen.
With Les Arts Florissants, Ana has performed roles such as Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Dalinda in Handel’s Ariodante, Eurydice in Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice, and the title role in Handel’s Partenope on an extensive international tour.
She regularly collaborates with leading period ensembles including Le Concert de la Loge, Le Concert de l’Hostel Dieu, Concerto 1700, and Divino Sospiro.
Her first solo recording, Amorosi Accenti with Concerto 1700, devoted to Domenico Scarlatti’s chamber cantatas, received enthusiastic international acclaim.
Highlights of the 2025/26 season include Agrippina, Orphée et Eurydice, Rinaldo, and Ercole amante.
Ana is a graduate of the Haute École de Musique de Genève and winner of several international awards.
