Áine Smith
Born and raised in Wales, soprano Áine Smith began singing in her local children’s choir. She went on to read Music at Merton College Oxford, and held a choral scholarship with the Merton College Choir. Now based in London, Áine is enjoying building a varied professional portfolio. She has performed across the globe with groups such as Sestina Music, Tenebrae and the ORA Singers. She is an alumna of Genesis Sixteen, the St-Martin-in-the-Fields Emerging Artists and the Tenebrae Associate Artists programmes. As a soloist, Áine has performed alongside Rachel Podger in the Brecon Baroque Festival and in the Oxford International Song Festival.
