Meet soprano Ali Ponsford-Hill: one of the longest serving members of the Monteverdi Choir, who celebrates her 20-year anniversary with the group this July.
The Monteverdi Choir performed Bach family motets in London and Leipzig in June 2024. The concerts also featured Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin performed by Kati Debretzeni (London) and Isabelle Faust (Leipzig).
The Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique performed all of the Beethoven symphonies at St Martin-in-the-Fields in London, and at the Philharmonie de Paris, in May 2024. The Monteverdi Choir joined the ORR for Beethoven’s Mass in C major and Symphony No. 9, with soloists Lucy Crowe (soprano), Alice Coote (mezzo soprano), Allan Clayton (tenor) and William Thomas (bass).
