As part of our strand of collaborative unconducted programming, award-winning writer, director and actor Tama Matheson brought his distinctive theatrical style to a special performance of Mozart’s Serenade for 13 Winds, the Gran Partita, in May 2025. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College, Matheson narrated the work alongside members of the English Baroque Soloists, offering a unique and immersive interpretation of one of Mozart’s most cherished compositions.
