Yannick Debus - Sherasmin
Yannick Debus is a sought-after soloist, especially in the Rossini, Mozart and Baroque repertoire.
The highlights of his 25/26 season include Lescaut Manon, Doctor Falke Die Fledermaus, Don Fernando Fidelio, Guglielmo Così fan tutte and Jesus St. John Passion at Opernhaus Zürich, Sherasmin in Oberon with Monteverdi Choir & Orchestra at the BBC Proms, Ein Deutsches Requiem at Kultur Ruhr, Messiah with Barokkanerne Oslo, St. Matthew Passion with St. Michaelis Hamburg and Vendado es Amor, no es ciego with Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, among others.
The 24/25 season included roles such as Harlekin Ariadne auf Naxos, Lesbo Agrippina, the title role in Jakob Lenz at Opernhaus Zürich, Carmina Burana with Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest at Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen at Staatsoper Stuttgart and Orpheus by Telemann at Drottningholms Slottsteater.
Other recent appearances included the title role of Orfeo in Monteverdi’s L'Orfeo with Freiburger Barockorchester under the baton of René Jacobs at Berliner Philharmonie, Philharmonie de Paris and the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Guglielmo Così fan tutte with Orchestre National de Lyon and Händel's Messiah with Kammerorchester Basel as well as Bach's St. Matthew Passion at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Auditorio Nacional de Madrid and at Alte Oper Frankfurt and Jesus in Bach’s St. John Passion at Concertgebouw Amsterdam.
