Jasmin White - Puck

American contralto Jasmin White “has it all” (VRT News). A recent graduate of the Artist Diploma in Opera Studies program at The Juilliard School, White possesses a remarkable versatility, adapting both vocal technique and stage presence to seamlessly navigate diverse genres.

An exciting 2024/25 season marked Jasmin White’s third season as a member of the premier Opernstudio at Volksoper Wien. Over the season, White performed Die Zauberflöte (Dritte Dame), Jolanthe und der Nussknacker (Martha), La Rondine (Suzy), and Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor (Frau Reich). They returned to Copenhagen with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra for Dido and Aneas and performed Alcina (Bradamante) and Jeptha (Hamor) on tour with Il Pomo d’Oro. White finished the season with their BBC Proms debut with the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra featuring as a soloist in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony.

White’s 2025/26 season began by performing Duruflé Requiem at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Following this, they took on the role of Juno in Handel's Semele with Dutch National Opera and they are now set to return to Salzburg as Erda in Wagner's Das Rheingold at the Osterfestspiele Salzburg. They will also perform the same role later in the season in their debut with Berlin Philharmonic.

In 2023, they won first place in the Queen Sonja Singing Competition in Norway and second place and the audience-awarded Musiq3 Prize of the Public in the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium.
