Elizabeth Nurse

Elizabeth Nurse (mezzo-soprano) is a British musician, currently studying Early Music Performance at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, Switzerland. An experienced choral and consort singer, she has sung with ensembles including La Cetra Basel, The Marian Consort, Christ Church Cathedral Choir (as the first female Lay Clerk appointed), and Instruments of Time and Truth. Elizabeth was a finalist in The Leach Award for Singing Competition 2024 and sings regularly as a soloist. Elizabeth holds a Masters in Musicology from the University of Oxford and researches performance practice in the 18th and 19th centuries. Elizabeth also plays baroque and modern violin.
