John Eliot Gardiner and the ORR bring the curtain down on their five-concert residency at New York’s Carnegie Hall with Beethoven’s Eighth and Ninth Symphonies on 24 February. The concert will be broadcast live on New York’s premier classical radio station, WQXR.
The ORR are joined for the Ninth Symphony by the Monteverdi Choir and soloists Lucy Crowe (soprano), Jess Dandy (contralto), Ed Lyon (tenor) and Matthew Rose (bass). Click here to listen to the broadcast from 8pm EST (1am GMT).
