We’re very excited to be back in action this week as we begin rehearsals for our live-streamed performance of Bach’s St John Passion.
On Thursday 25 March in London, the Monteverdi Choir, John Eliot Gardiner and our cast of soloists began rehearsing this sacred masterpiece. Rehearsals continue over the weekend, before we travel to Oxford ahead of our live-streamed performance in the historic Sheldonian Theatre.
We’re thrilled to see that this online concert, which is streamed over the Easter weekend on Deutsche Grammophon’s ‘DG Stage’ platform (from 2pm UK time on Friday 2 April), has placed at the top of New York Times’ ‘10 Classical Concerts to Stream in April’
