Monteverdi 450 Costume Auction

This is your chance to own a piece of Monteverdi 450 history!

Throughout 2017, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, the English Baroque Soloists and the Monteverdi Choir embarked on a monumetal project touring Claudio Monteverdi’s three surviving operas in celebration of the 450th anniversary of his birth. The Monteverdi 450 Trilogy Tour took audiences by storm commencing fittingly at Venice’s Teatro La Fenice before travelling onwards to European festivals from Edinburgh to Salzburg and Lucerne before concluding in Chicago and New York.

Part of what made this sensational tour so special were the beautiful costumes worn by the performers. These stylish costumes were commissioned to help us bring Monteverdi’s unforgettable stories alive visually for our audiences, and now, to celebrate the conclusion of this spectacular project we will be selling these items, plus other treasured memorabilia from the tour, in an online auction through our eBay page between 12-17 December.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity offering you the chance to own an exclusive piece of Monteverdi magic, which will provide you with a priceless memory of Monteverdi 450.

Further information and photos will be available on each item once the auction goes live, however, if you have any questions regarding the online sale please contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call +44(0)20 7719 0120.
