On 17th May Monteverdi Choir and Orchestras were guests of HRH The Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace for a concert and dinner in celebration of Monteverdi’s 450th anniversary. The event was attended by over 200 of MCO’s most dedicated supporters and presided over by Alexander Armstrong. The Monteverdi Choir, English Baroque Soloists and a cast of international soloists performed excerpts from Monteverdi’s opera trilogy and madrigals.
