​In May 2016 Monteverdi Choir & Orchestras staged a series of workshops entitled Accademia Monteverdiana. These were held in Venice at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in preparation for the Monteverdi 450 project, culminating in a final showcase concert held in the beautiful Sala degli Arazzi (Hall of Tapestries) of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini on 30 April 2016
