Apprentices at the Chelsea Flower Show
18 May, 2015

Our Apprentices were honoured to represent the longstanding partnership between Morgan Stanley and Monteverdi Choir and Orchestras at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The singers performed in the Morgan Stanley Show Garden, designed by Chris Beardshaw during the press launch on the morning of Monday 18 May.

Conducted by Oliver John Ruthven, they performed:

Traditional- Now the Green Blade Riseth
Monteverdi- Sfogava con le stelle
Monteverdi- Su, su, su, pastorelli vezzosi
Brahms - Einförming, Op. 113/13
Anonymous - Non Nobis, Domine

The garden, representing the theme "Healthy Cities" was awarded a Gold Medal and will be transferred almost entirely to form the centrepiece of a new community project launched by Morgan Stanley in East London.

“Spent this morning singing at the rather damp but still very beautiful Chelsea Flower Show with the Monteverdi Choir Apprentices.
