Following Monteverdi Choir & Orchestras triumphant international Monteverdi 450 tour we are delighted to announce a final concert which will take place in the Raphael Cartoon Gallery at the V&A museum on Friday 15 December.

Sir John Eliot Gardiner, English Baroque Soloists, Monteverdi Choir and cast of international soloists will perform highlights from this hugely successful tour as part of the V&A’s Opera: Passion, Power and Politics exhibition.

This concluding concert will be the only chance to catch a glimpse, in London, of the 'Monteverdi magic' that will travel to Chicago and New York later this month and has wowed audiences across Europe since April. It will also celebrate 50 years since  John Eliot Gardiner first conducted at the V&A with his newly formed Monteverdi Choir to mark the Venetian master's 400th anniversary in 1967.

This final performance will take place as part of the 'V&A's Lates' programme on 15th December. More details on how to book your tickets will become available over the next few weeks.
